Hello Dear One,It is an honor to listen deeply to your story; support you in releasing and alchemizing old energies; and witness your self-remembrance of wholeness and health.
Let me introduce myself by sharing with you little bit about my healing journey that brought me to my current calling.I turned to alternative healing arts in 2009 after I experienced a life-changing brain injury that catapulted me into seeking non-allopathic means of supporting myself through chronic migraines, neurological symptoms and memory problems. After years of self-immersion in several schools Zen and yogic meditation, including a school semester studying religious philosophies and meditation techniques in Japan, I serendipitously discovered acupressure and Chinese herbalism, which helped me tremendously with managing pain. Before making the leap into grad school to study Oriental Medicine, I studied acupressure and Japanese shiatsu as an apprentice for 3 years in Denver followed by the intricate depths of the nervous system through Upledger and Biodynamic craniosacral therapy.I am licensed to practice acupuncture and herbalism in the states of Virginia, North Carolina and Colorado and use my knowledge and love of meridian and biofield energetics and Chinese herbalism as as foundational building blocks in my work.I have personally experienced every type of major life transition that I support others moving through, including marriage, divorce, sudden relocation, loss of loved ones, multiple career changes and several near-death experiences. Having experienced so many earthquaking events in my life, I have learned from many teachers, facilitators and trainings in my own process of adapting, adjusting and envisioning a new life for myself.Over the last decade, I have been supporting clients who have experienced physical and psycho-emotional trauma through a combination of integrative healing arts and clairvoyance, my ability to see beyond the physical. This ability allows me to see the energy that is stored in the body and energy field.Formal education background:
• Master in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado
• National certification in Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM)
• Diplomate in Acupressure, Natural Therapies Certification Board (2014)
• Studied Japanese Buddhism, meditation, language and culture at Ryukoku University in Kyoto, Japan (2012)Beyond the years of meticulous learning of numerous systems of energy medicine, I have come to learn through my personal healing process and through watching my clients in their blossoming and unfolding, that the most powerful thing that I offer is to be a conscious witness and co-collaborator in opening up new windows of possibility for health and wellbeing. Each and every one of us already contains the templating for our own healing and conscious unfolding. And when the consciousness of that medicine awakens, miracles happen.~ Melanie A. Pawlyszyn
